Terms of Service (AGB)

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (AGB) govern the use of the Knowledge Gatherer service operated by:

By signing up for the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service description

Knowledge Gatherer provides an AI-powered job search service. A personalized AI agent searches for job listings tailored to your profile, evaluates them, and sends you the best match via email. Depending on your plan, notifications are sent daily (Monday–Friday) or weekly (Saturday). You can refine results by replying to notification emails with feedback.

3. Contract formation

The contract is formed when you complete your signup and, for paid plans, submit your first payment. During the free beta period, the contract is formed upon completion of signup. The contract is for an indefinite period and can be cancelled monthly.

4. Pricing and payment

During the beta period, the service is free of charge. When paid plans are introduced, prices will be communicated before any charges are made. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). Invoices are issued electronically.

Note: Pursuant to §19 Abs. 1 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung), no VAT is charged.

5. Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)

The following is the statutory withdrawal notice required by German law (Anlage 1 zu Art. 246a §1 Abs. 2 S. 1 Nr. 1 EGBGB):

mittels einer eindeutigen Erklärung (z. B. ein mit der Post versandter Brief oder E-Mail) über Ihren Entschluss, diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen, informieren. Sie können dafür das beigefügte Muster-Widerrufsformular verwenden, das jedoch nicht vorgeschrieben ist.

Zur Wahrung der Widerrufsfrist reicht es aus, dass Sie die Mitteilung über die Ausübung des Widerrufsrechts vor Ablauf der Widerrufsfrist absenden.

Folgen des Widerrufs

Wenn Sie diesen Vertrag widerrufen, haben wir Ihnen alle Zahlungen, die wir von Ihnen erhalten haben, einschließlich der Lieferkosten (mit Ausnahme der zusätzlichen Kosten, die sich daraus ergeben, dass Sie eine andere Art der Lieferung als die von uns angebotene, günstigste Standardlieferung gewählt haben), unverzüglich und spätestens binnen vierzehn Tagen ab dem Tag zurückzuzahlen, an dem die Mitteilung über Ihren Widerruf dieses Vertrags bei uns eingegangen ist. Für diese Rückzahlung verwenden wir dasselbe Zahlungsmittel, das Sie bei der ursprünglichen Transaktion eingesetzt haben, es sei denn, mit Ihnen wurde ausdrücklich etwas anderes vereinbart; in keinem Fall werden Ihnen wegen dieser Rückzahlung Entgelte berechnet.

Haben Sie verlangt, dass die Dienstleistungen während der Widerrufsfrist beginnen sollen, so haben Sie uns einen angemessenen Betrag zu zahlen, der dem Anteil der bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, zu dem Sie uns von der Ausübung des Widerrufsrechts hinsichtlich dieses Vertrags unterrichten, bereits erbrachten Dienstleistungen im Vergleich zum Gesamtumfang der im Vertrag vorgesehenen Dienstleistungen entspricht.

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received, minus a pro-rata amount for any services already provided during the withdrawal period.

7. Early service start consent

By completing your signup, you expressly consent to the service beginning immediately, before the expiration of the 14-day withdrawal period (§356 Abs. 4 BGB). You acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. For partial performance, a pro-rata refund applies as described in section 5.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You can cancel via the unsubscribe link included in every notification email, through your account dashboard, or by emailing support@groundkg.com. During the free beta, you can unsubscribe at any time with immediate effect.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of material contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), and in such cases liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damages. This does not affect liability under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) or other mandatory statutory provisions (§309 Nr. 7 BGB).

Knowledge Gatherer provides job search assistance using AI. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of job listings. The service does not constitute employment advice.

10. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms with at least 30 days' notice. Changes will be communicated via email to all active users. If you do not object within 30 days of receiving notice, the updated terms are deemed accepted. You will be specifically informed of this consequence in the change notification. If you object, either party may terminate the contract.

12. Final provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the original.
